Looking forward to being back

A lot of theatres claim to be haunted, and we are no different. Perhaps so many theatres are haunted because people were so happy in life here and want to stick around?
We have several resident spooks.
Our most active ghost is 'Abigail'. She sits in the circle, third row from the back, stage right. Actors often see a shadowy figure there, particularly in later rehearsals closer to the performance. If she enjoys the show, she will sit for the duration of the rehearsals but if she dislikes the show, she will play with the lighting in the tech box so the stage lights and sound glitch. The swish of her skirt is sometimes seen and heard there. We often have ghost hunters in this time of year and they have caught orbs and cold spots with their equipment.
We have a poltergeist back stage who moves props around if he's feeling mischievous.
There is a dark energy up in the top of the building in the wardrobe. Many members refuse to go into the wardrobe alone and we tend to go in pairs.
We also have a ghost cat! The cat has been felt rubbing against the legs of patrons as they enter the short corridor to the auditorium, past the door into the bar.
I have had some ghostly experiences myself. When locking up one night, I heard clinking of glasses and conversations in the foyer, as if there was a party in there, but when I've entered, there is no one there. I have also had a bin lid fly across the dressing room floor when I'm completely alone.
Have you ever had strange experiences?
We'd love to hear your spooky tales...

Abigail will also flicker the lights in the tech box if the show is getting boring

Fabulous - we also love the tradition that theatres leave a ghost light on when they finish for the night and are closed and empty to appease the ghosts

Do you ever have investigations?

I've a ghost in my house I call him micheal. Had all kinds of things happened. Only my neighbour my husband myself have experience the presence.
