Marriage is a fair institution – no family should be without one. Our family tonight certainly has one.
We open with the kind of celebration that goes on everywhere, her family, his family, the friends and the relations setting the seal of approval on along awaited wedding.
The course of true love never did run smooth, but our young couple find nothing but thorns in their bed of roses. It was Dr. Johnson who said that marriage has many pains, but celibacy has no pleasure.
The growing pains of this marriage are typical of all marriages – sometimes they will make you cry, and then you will laugh at everybody’s attempt to be marriage guidance counselors.
Just when is marriage a marriage? The answer to this question you will find- all in good time!
Director John Skelton
