Another change of mind as Dora, the maid (Dorothy Powers) fins him calmly reading the paper
In argumentative mood with his current girlfriend Olivia (Mary McGuckin)
In solicitous mood he pours his 'mother' (Edith Downes) a drink...
...only to change immediately to one of murderous intent
And finally one of self pity as manacled by Inspector (Charles Wheeler) he waits for the inevitable end watched by Olivia, Dora, and Mrs Terence (Susan Murray)
